My family loves cheesy potatoes and this Potatoes Au Gratin recipe for crockpots hits the spot.

It is such a simple yet delicious crock pot potatoes recipe you can prepare for the family meal.

Or better yet take it as a side dish to a family pot luck or church gathering.

Rustic Potatoes Au Gratin

Crock Pot Slow Cooker – Cookbook

Makes 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 pounds baking potatoes, cut into 1/4 inch slices
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • Paprika (optional)

Directions:

  1. Heat milk in small saucepan over medium heat until small bubbles form around the edges.
  2. Remove from heat, add soup, cream cheese, garlic, nutmeg and pepper and stir until smooth.
  3. Layer one fourth of potatoes and one fourth of onion in Rival Crock Pot and top with one fourth of soup mixture.
  4. Repeat layers 3 times, using remaining potatoes, onions and soup mixture.
  5. Cover and cook on low 6 1/2 to 7 hours or until potatoes are tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
  6. Sprinkle with paprika if desired.

Not only am I saving time, I am also saving money.

I have tried so many chili recipes and found this Crock Pot Chili recipe to be the easiest.

Chorizo Crock Pot Chili

Crock Pot Slow Cooker -Recipe Book

Makes 6 servings

Ingredients:

1 lb 90% lean ground beef

8 oz. bulk raw chorizo or 1/2 package (15 oz.) raw chorizo

1 can (16 oz) chili beans in chili sauce

2 cans (14 1/2 oz each) zesty chili-style diced tomatoes, undrained

Directions:

Place beef and chorizo in Rival Crock Pot and break into small pieces with a fork.

Stir in beans and tomatoes.

Cook on low 7 hours.

Skim off and discard excess fat before serving.

Top with sour cream and shredded cheese if desired.

Cooking corned beef in the Rival Crock Pot will give you delicious, tender and tasty results every time.

Corned Beef and Cabbage

Crock Pot Slow Cooker – Cookbook

Makes 6 servings

Ingredients:

1 head cabbage (1 1/2 lbs.) cut into 6 wedges

4 oz. baby carrots

1 corned beef (3 lbs.) with seasoning packet *

4 cups (1 quart) water

1/3 cup prepared mustard

1/3 cup honey

* If seasoning packet is not perforated, poke several small holes with tip of paring knife

Directions:

Place cabbage in Rival Crock Pot; top with carrots.

Place season packet on top of vegetables.

Place corned beef, flat side up over season packet and vegetables.

Add water, cover and cook on low 10 hours.

Combine mustard and honey in a small bowl. Set aside.

Once corned beef is cooked, discard season packet.

Slice beef and serve with vegetables and mustard sauce.
